The cost of routine eye exams and prescription eyewear can be of real concern, especially for large families. In many cases, vision insurance can lower these annual expenses. We provide both medical and routine eye care, and accept a number of insurance plans (including Medicare) to help cover the cost depending on your individual needs.

The Effect of Diabetes on Your Vision Health

People with diabetes are at significantly increased risk of developing cataracts, a clouding of the vision caused by clumps of protein forming in the lens of the eye. Although cataracts usually affect people in their elderly years, diabetics tend to develop cataracts at a younger age, and their condition progresses much faster. Our Goodlettsville Dr. Matt Judd can help.
